Nucleus Colony: 5 frame Nucs on deep frames  includes a VSH-Italian marked queen with known gentle genetics. These are Italian honey bees with known gentle genetics and are ideal for Backyard Beekeeping in Los Angeles. 5 frame Nucs on deep frames. 

Nucleus colonies are only available for sale from May-August of each year.

Pre-orders for nucleus colonies are open November 1st - April 30th. Estimated pick-up date for nucleus colonies is typically early to mid May.

Colony orders placed after pre-order period will need to call (818) 312-1691 to schedule a time for pick up.

RESTOCKING CHARGE: There is a $50 restocking fee for packages, nucs, complete hives, and queens not picked up or cancelled orders. Please call or email Bill with your order number if you need to cancel. Orders that have not been picked up, cancelled nor otherwise communicated intent within 24hrs of pick up date will be considered a "no show" and automatically cancels the order which is no longer eligible for refund.
