VSH-Italian Queen Bees (marked) are ideal for an urban setting, hobby beekeepers, or commercial beekeepers needing to re-queen. They come in a screened cage with attendants, are mated and marked, ready to lay. Italian bees have been a favorite genetic among beekeepers since they were first introduced to the New World in the 1850’s. They are known to be gentle of temperament, easy to work with, readily build comb, diligent housekeepers which helps them with control of wax moth and resistance to diseases, very prolific, wonderful foragers, excellent honey producers, and with less tendency to swarm.  

Queen bee sales are a seasonal product and subject to availability. Typically late March to early October each year is the season we stock queen bees.  **If placed before breeding season (March), your order will be fulfilled as soon as possible once mating season ends which is usually at the end of March or beginning of April each year, weather dependent.  

Once your purchase is confirmed by email you MUST call 818-312-1691 to schedule a pick up date, time, and location.

RESTOCKING CHARGE: On all orders that are cancelled there is a $50 restocking fee per item for package bees, nucleus colonies, and complete hives. There is a $30 restocking fee per item for Queen bees. Please call or text us with your first & last name and order number if you need to cancel 818-312-1691

REFUND POLICY: ALL orders that have not been picked up, cancelled, or otherwise communicated intent within 24hrs of the pick up date will be considered a "no show" meaning the order is automatically cancelled and is no longer eligible for delayed pickup or for any refund, payment and product is forfeited.
